The Chicken Coop

I am a paper crafter. I've been playing with paper, and cutting and pasting for many years now and I still just love it. I teach classes each month and would love to have you.
You can find me at MyRedHen.blogspot.com and on Pinterest
or email me at MyRedHen4@yahoo.com
I'd love to hear from you.
Every now and then I have some cards or little treats available for sale that may be seen here.
My blog also contains my personal posts. Ignore them if you like, but you may get a kick out of them. Maybe my girls will read them one day and get insights into the inner workings of an old woman's brain....Scary Thought!
There is a list of labels on the right side of the blog, so you can click there to go to only the posts that you are interested in. That will allow you to skip the personal posts and any items for sale if you wish. No matter which way you choose, I hope will enjoy my little blog and visit often.

Bishop's Pumpkin Farm

Yesterday the kids and I squished into my vehicle with two car seats and headed off to Bishop's Pumpkin Farm. We had never been there before, but I had heard really good things about it from young moms in the area. What a fabulous place it is! It's a travesty that we haven't visited before now!
Cool bus/School bus. Get it! Tee Hee!

Don't forget to notice the cute little Punkin on the bottom right!
Landon had so much fun! What an absolute joy it was just to watch him. It amazes me how one little person can make your day spectacular, your mood joyous, and your life a happy one just by being his own little self. He played and played and played and then he played some more. If you are looking for a fall activity that your kids would enjoy, take time to go on a drive and spend the day there.

He went down this slide so many times that he became quite the pro.
We of course took the hayride out to the pumpkin fields to pick their pumpkin for this year's carving. Landon began by trying to pick one, but when they were too heavy for him to pick up, he was quite content to sit down in the red earth and collect rocks instead. He did finally get himself one when we pointed out some that were more his size. By the time we were done, he was absolutely filthy from head to toe.

This sweet little guy slept almost the entire day. Isn't he the sweetest in his little pumpkin hat?
