The Chicken Coop

I am a paper crafter. I've been playing with paper, and cutting and pasting for many years now and I still just love it. I teach classes each month and would love to have you.
You can find me at MyRedHen.blogspot.com and on Pinterest
or email me at MyRedHen4@yahoo.com
I'd love to hear from you.
Every now and then I have some cards or little treats available for sale that may be seen here.
My blog also contains my personal posts. Ignore them if you like, but you may get a kick out of them. Maybe my girls will read them one day and get insights into the inner workings of an old woman's brain....Scary Thought!
There is a list of labels on the right side of the blog, so you can click there to go to only the posts that you are interested in. That will allow you to skip the personal posts and any items for sale if you wish. No matter which way you choose, I hope will enjoy my little blog and visit often.

Creative Escape Day 4---Class #3 and 4

After Jessica's class we had a short break for a bag lunch and then it was on to class #3 which for us was with Trisha Ladouceur who came to us from Canada. We covered and embellished a box to hold our Creative Escape treasures. It gave me an idea for a possible class for a box to hold a mini book with a baby theme, with spaces for baby trinkets like the hospital bracelet and maybe baby's first pair of little shoes. Be watching for that in the future.

Next we hustled over to our class with Teresa Collins who has her own line. She was one of Janice's very favorites and I have included a picture of them together. We made an album to house some special life moments. We bound it with the new Cinch machine from We R Memory Keepers. Janice and I both find the Zutter a bit confusing, so we were sold on the Cinch. We have brought a couple home to use in my classes.

Following this class we went to dinner and then immediately in to one more class. It was a small embellished magnet board with three matching magnets made from the brad maker, designed by Heidi Lynn Schreiber.

Next I ran upstairs to the room to unload myself from the days activities. I grabbed my laptop and then back downstairs to take my last class for the day. Jessica Sprague held this workshop which gave us a lesson in brushes in Adobe Photoshop.

I finally made it back to the room at around 11pm to shoot you all off a quick message, check my emails, and fall into bed.
