Well now that I have opened my website, I need to get to work on it.
The button on the website will direct you right back here to my original blog.
Today I thought I'd show you a little card we created at a team meeting on Saturday. It shows a bit of the daisy suite coming in the new catalog. It's one of my favorites. You all should be receiving that new catalog in the mail and I can send in orders beginning June 1st.
In the picture I set the card in front of my latest bargain find. I stopped in at a rummage sale After the team meeting and got it for 50cents!
The Chicken Coop
I am a paper crafter. I've been playing with paper, and cutting and pasting for many years now and I still just love it. I teach classes each month and would love to have you.
You can find me at MyRedHen.blogspot.com and on Pinterest
or email me at MyRedHen4@yahoo.com
I'd love to hear from you.
Every now and then I have some cards or little treats available for sale that may be seen here.
My blog also contains my personal posts. Ignore them if you like, but you may get a kick out of them. Maybe my girls will read them one day and get insights into the inner workings of an old woman's brain....Scary Thought!
There is a list of labels on the right side of the blog, so you can click there to go to only the posts that you are interested in. That will allow you to skip the personal posts and any items for sale if you wish. No matter which way you choose, I hope will enjoy my little blog and visit often.

A Bit of Blarney
I've had a request for a punch art class and since I haven't done one in a very long time, I thought it was a great idea.
The class is this coming Thursday and I am prepping for it now.
Just finished this little guy this afternoon and thought I'd share it with all of you.
A Little Sparkle
Well, I'm not even going to try and excuse the fact that I've been WAY neglecting my blog.
Obviously the Christmas season must have done me in.
I return with a picture of a box I made with the new Window Box Thinlet dies.
I spent the day with my upline a couple of days ago and she had done one like this in red for Valentines Day. I, of course, just had to have one and she was kind enough to let me cut one out.
I did mine up in pink so that it would be perfect for Easter or Mothers Day.
The box can be found on page 43 of the Occasions Catalog, and if you bundle it with the Wimdow Shopping stamp set on the same page, you can save 10% on both.

Little Treats
Thought I'd quickly post a picture of the cute little Christmas treat boxes I made yesterday. Two of them are made using, our little 2" clear boxes, the larger one our new 3" white boxes with clear sleeves. The penguin is made using part of our curvy treat box. This little guy was Rae's design. Isn't he cute?
I also used the little 2" clear boxes to make this box of "Bugs and Kisses"
I'll take the kisses....you can keep the bugs. LOL

Three Alarm Cuteness
Well, yesterday held another example of Megan's fabulous Halloween costumes. As I showed in an earlier post, the two boys were firefighters. They were special enough, but in addition Megan became a dalmatian and Mike a fire hydrant. I cracked up when he came walking out in his costume. He's such a good sport. But even that was not enough for my Megan. To top it all off, Landon's wagon became a firetruck. She works so hard to make things wonderful for those boys!
For me, the best part of the evening was before the trick or treating. There is a fire station near their house and we stopped by there to take pictures of the boys by the sign. Turned out they had some candy to hand out, so the boys went up. When the fire fighters saw them they insisted we needed pictures. They opened the doors, took pictures of the boys on the truck, and were sure to give them stickers before we left. Landon was over the moon and I was so impressed by them being so kind.

Spell Check
Well, obviously I'm still doing poorly at keeping up with my postings, but a dopey thing happened to me just now and I thought I'd pop a quick note here about it.
The doggone spell check on my phone is constantly correcting me to say something I didn't intend to say.
This morning I sent an email to a customer about a replacement of her SU trimmer and instead of SU trimmer, I suggested a SUPERANTISPYWARE trimmer. Good grief!
Anyway, I sent her another email with a correction and told her that I'm sure a Deluxe SUPERANTISPYWARE Cutter would be much more costly.
I really need to start proof reading everything I send.
HKGRRHGG....LOL!!!

Build-A-Tag
Today I attended Rae's Build-A-Tag event. For the first part of the day I got a few things of my own done and then made all of these great Christmas tags.
