Grab Bag Kits
Hi everyone
I have been selling these grab bag kits to my local ladies and I thought you all should be able to get in on the fun.
Each kit includes 20 some pieces of 6x6 paper and some embellishments that go with the theme or color of the kit.
I tie each one up with over a yard of matching ribbon and add one or two items to the outside bow.
They are bargain priced at $10 each and
I add new kits for sale each Wednesday (With a few exceptions)
If you see one you like, contact me at MyRedHen4@yahoo.com.
Local people can pick them up on my front porch with "no contact" and put the money through the mail slot at the bottom of my door.
I can ship them to you anywhere in the United States. Shipping fees would be quoted at time of purchase.

Juneteenth
More than two years after President Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863, thousands of Black Americans remained enslaved by owners who refused to comply with the proclamation. On June 19, 1865, Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, to enforce an order: All enslaved people in the state—more than 250,000 people—were free.
Celebrations of the day that came to be known as Juneteenth began as church-organized community gatherings in Texas. Today, 47 states and the District of Columbia recognize this important date as a holiday or special day of observance.

Happy Birthday Lyla!
My darling granddaughter Lyla is turning one year old on Saturday and of course there's goubg to be a big party. Megan has chosen a watermelon theme for the party, cause Lyla's just that sweet.
I just completed her birthday card so I thought I'd share.
The watermelon has a shaker inside so that she can enjoy shaking it. :)

Technique Class
I've gotten another online class ready.
It is a technique class so there is no kit to buy. You can most likely do these projects with things you already own.
I will be demonstrating three different techniques as well as giving a few tips I've picked up along the way.
I have decided to charge only $7.50 for this class which will be sent to you in video form.
This is a rough picture of some of the samples I've done using the techniques.
As a bonus, in this class each of the techniques you try will reward with at least two cards.
Come along and join me for some creative fun!

DONUTS!!
I heard an announcement on the radio today that reminded me that I have been slacking terribly with my blog.
The announcement was to inform us that this Friday is National Donut Day.
Let me just say that I do love a really good donut....DELICIOUS!!
I just may have to venture out on Friday on a search for one.
I mean if it's National Donut Day it is kind of important to eat a donut (or 2 or 3).
It sounds like a requirement to me.
Now to find the best one. Maybe some research needs to be done.
What is your very favorite?
